Had an idea to use bits of another fishing rods as arm rest in order to add something more to the design. The benefit of the minimalist design means that the chair can be flat packed for ease of travel and potential to recycle the wood boards for other future furniture pieces.
Camping style chair, consisting of two interlocking boards with incorporation of the fishing rod lamp to make a chair to sit on and read a book or do work with a light source.
i will need to use a thin piece of steel to reinforce the table, so that it is stable a 90 degrees so that it doesn't bounce and get annoying.
Sketch up is great way to quickly model an idea without wasting too much time or any money on materials. It gives a realistic 3d model to view from every angle and has been super helpful to get my head around how the furniture pieces will look. I was having trouble with deciding out of two different ideas and so i decided to model them both and ask around what people liked.
